Project S.U.C.C.E.S.S. for the Lost Boys stands for Support Unifying Community Commitment to Educate South
Sudan. It is dedicated to helping bring a brighter future to the children in South Sudan through
education by involving the community’s participation. S.U.C.C.E.S.S. supports the SSHCO education
pillar. Education is one of the most powerful forces that can change the world. If South Sudan is ever
going to make progress, it needs a generation that is educated and who will become the leaders that will
tackle and solve the country’s problems.

In January of 2022, generous donors provided the funds to build an education center for SSHCO. This
one room building will be the school for primary 1 students. School supplies, books, LED projectors and
solar panels were shipped from the U.S. and will make the school in the Mongalla camp one of best
equipped schools in the country. Teachers were hired and school began in April of 2022 with —
students. Additional funding is necessary to build several more classrooms. Working with the Ministry of
Education, the school hopes to have the textbooks for the primary school provided for this year’s
instruction.
