In June the SSHCO Mangalla Junior Primary School opened. Fifty students enrolled with half of them being girls. Three teachers were hired. Funds were provided by a generous donor. The school is a concrete block building and one of the only such building in the camp. It has solar panels that are used to powder an LED projector that allows math lessons and African Stories to be projected on the wall so all students can see the lessons. At the end of the third term 93% of the students passed their exams. SSHCO is seeking funding to build more classrooms for the school.
